Practical Politics - Art and Welfare

This colloquium will look at how art and politics intertwines and in particular how the state directives for cultural politics affects the milieu we live in and the art that is produced within it. By looking at how art express political ideas we wish to open a discussion on the links between art and the systems that feed it. The course includes lectures, field trips and collaborative assignments.
